Nasacort is used to treat stuffy or runny nose due to
allergies. Your doctor may use this medicine to treat
other condtions as well.

How
Drug Works
Triamcinolone works by decreasing inflammation (swelling)
in the nasal passages caused by allergens.
How
Taken
This medicine is used in the nose. Shake the well before
using. Discard the medicine within 6 months after removing
from the foil pouch. Follow your doctors directions
for using this medicine.
Possible
Side Effects
Side effects that this medicine may cause include: sore
throat hoarseness bad taste nausea nasal irritation
dryness bleeding coughing If you experience other bothersome
side effects, contact your health care provider.
Warnings/Precautions
Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes. Avoid anyone
who has chicken pox or measles while taking this medicine.
Do NOT take more than the recommended dose of this medicine.
Do NOT use this medicine for other nasal conditions
without talking to your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine
may affect growth rates in chidren. Talk to your doctor
for more information.
Overdose
For emergencies, seek medical attention immediately.
For non emergencies, contact your local or regional
poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
Drug
Interactions
There are no serious documented drug interactions with
this medicine. Let your doctor know if you are taking
any other medications either by prescription or over-the-counter.
Missed
Dose
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is
time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go
back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage
Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat
and moisture (not in the bathroom). Keep this medication
in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out
of reach of children. Throw away any medication that
is outdated or no longer needed.
Pregnancy/Nursing
If you are planning to become preganant or want to breast-feed,
talk to your doctor first to discuss the benefits and
risks associated with this medicine. For breast-feeding
mothers, it is NOT known if this medicine is excreted
in the breast milk. Do NOT use if you are nursing until
you have talked with your doctor, or pediatrician.
